The Parthasarathy Temple
It is located at Triplicane in Chennai. It is one of the oldest temples in Tamil Nadu which was built in 8th century and is dedicated to Lord Krishna. Inside the temple area, there are smaller shrines which are dedicated to Lord Narasimha, Lord Rama and Varaha.
Kapaleeshwar Temple
It is located in Mylapore in Chennai. It is also one of the oldest temples in Tamil Nadu and was built in 7th century during the Pallava regime. It is dedicated to Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva and is built in the Dravidian architecture style.
Kalikambal Temple
This temple was built in 1640 AD. And it is dedicated to goddess kallikambal. This temple was ravaged during Portuguese invasion and is restored to its glory now. Earlier idol was believed to be aggressive form of the Goddess, while present one represents the peaceful form of the Goddess
